I would like to thank the women in my life, my wife and my children whom without their help, none of this would have been possible. In the year 2000, I came to the U.S.A to participate in a world competition for poetry and I was honored to win that competition, after I won that competition the U.S government gave me the international scholar status and because of this status my family got permission to come to the U.S.A. I am extremely grateful and thankful to the U.S. government for this privilege and prestige.
I am the poet of love, that's why I always expect my readers to find love in my poems. Well known poetess and journalist Shahida Latif said, "Sabir's Poetry is the Poetry of country and of love". She is absolutely right, I am the poet of love for poetry is the dress of language.
